If your product really is very simple, we are probably not a good fit. Our R&D department is used to working on relatively complex products that are designed from scratch. The design, sourcing, prototyping, and testing work takes significant resources.
Therefore, we require these minimum budget requirements for projects:
- For projects on which we need to provide design services: a minimum of 50,000 USD total budget for design (*)
- For projects that have been designed outside of our company, we charge a minimum of 1,000 USD for a DFM review
(*) Note that “total budget” means it is fine if only a small fraction of that amount is spent with us. We are happy to contribute to a portion of the design work rather than to the entire project. And we are happy to take over at the DFM stage when everything before that has been done.
