2006

Renaud Anjoran founds Sofeast Ltd – the overall idea is “Smooth Operations in the Far East” for importers.

2007

The company specializes in quality inspections and factory audits only, to respond to strong market demand.

2008

Launch of the blog qualityinspection.org. The domain name reflects that main activity at the time.

2011

First technical process audits as performed, as clients need to ensure good process controls.

2010

First social compliance audits are performed.

2009

To accompany the growth of the activity in China, creation of the Foshan subsidiary.

2012

We start work on manufacturing process improvements & troubleshooting.

2013

Start of the development of the IT system that has become the backbone of our QA dept.

2014

Operational merger with SAOS, with deep expertise in supply chain management (SCM).

2017

We set up an engineering dept., for development of electro-mechanical products.

2016

Creation of the Shenzhen subsidiary, and accelerated growth of SCM dept.

2015

We start providing engineering work for new product developments.

2018

Opening of Agilian, a 2,000 sq.m. facility for prototyping and small assembly runs.

2019

Enlargement of Agilian (total 4,000 sq.m.), setup of R&D offices with a testing lab.

2020

We can now handle most of the common techniques to prototype parts (CNC milling, several 3D printing technologies, laser cutting, urethane molds, etc…)

2021

Agilian was expanded to 10,000 square meters, and got ISO 9001 certified for assembly work

2021

Our India team (product engineers, project managers, and quality inspectors) was expanded

2021

Our internal testing lab, RSQ-Labs, grew its range of environmental, mechanical, performance & safety, and transportation simulation tests.

2022

Agilian moved into an even larger facility and set up a well-equipped rapid prototyping center featuring numerous pieces of equipment such as industrial 3D printers

2023

We opened ‘Agilian Plastic & Molds‘ in Dongguan, next to Agilian. Here we produce a variety of plastic parts ourselves for our customers in-house.

2024

AgPM now produces high-quality silicone parts and creates tooling for aluminum and zinc die casting as part of its production process, expanding its manufacturing capabilities in 2024
