Material cost changes for June 2025
Our data reflects changes up to June 27, 2025, and compares current prices to those from mid-May 2025. Here’s how raw material prices have evolved in the past month:

Here is what the external market analysts we work with attribute these changes to during this past month and the overall monthly cost change in the last week of June:
Materials with Decreased Prices
- Silicone (110): Dropped significantly by -8.7%, with prices falling from 12,760 RMB/ton to 11,650 RMB/ton. Market softness and reduced demand are likely contributors.
- Epoxy Resin (E-51): Fell by -1.8%, despite a relatively stable weekly outlook.
- Zinc Alloy (Zamak5): Declined slightly by -0.7%, reversing the sharp increase seen in early 2025.
- Aluminum Alloy ADC12: Also saw a small decrease of -0.5%, attributed to weakening prices under pressure from demand fluctuations.
Materials with Stable or Slightly Rising Prices
- ABS (AG-15E1): Price increased marginally by +0.08%, showing relative stability.
- Battery Material (Lithium Cobalt Oxides): While not shown in the main data summary, this material had previously exhibited volatility and should be closely monitored.
Takeaways
- Overall Trend: Most materials remained relatively stable or declined slightly in late June.
- Key Concern: Silicone’s price correction was particularly notable and may influence costs for products that rely on silicone parts or seals.
- Action Point: Now may be a good time to lock in pricing on epoxy, silicone, and aluminum alloys if you’re planning large orders.
