It is competitive with other producers such as Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, etc. So in complement to the manufacturers, there are also plenty of textile testing labs in India that you can use to check and confirm the quality and compliance of products you are buying.

What normally happens during textile testing?

There are a lot of standards that are related to certain types of textile fabrics, accessories, and garments. Your lab should be aware of the kinds of standards your product and market will require for compliance and quality, but it’s also a good idea for buyers to research them in advance — ideally from the product design stage.
