Our product inspections are performed on the basis of the ISO 2859 standard. It is a commercial standard published by the International Organization for Standardization. It provides a recognized method for accepting or rejecting a production lot by inspecting only a sample from the whole quantity.
The ISO 2859 standard is directly derived from the Mil-Std 105E standard (maintained by the US army until the mid-1990s). It is ISO’s equivalent to the ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003, NF06-022, BS 6001, and DIN 40080 standards.
Indeed, this standard dictates the inspection levels used in random sampling product inspections.
