The objectives are (1) to eliminate all obvious misfits, and (2) to get down to a short-list of most suitable candidates.
This screening process is solely based on email & phone interactions with the candidates, and if necessary on reviews of samples sent to our office.
We use the criteria defined before the previous step (identification of candidates).
Note: we will not negotiate prices with supplier--only enquire about them. Similarly we only collect information, and we won't promise orders to get acceptance of certain conditions.
