The objectives are (1) to eliminate all obvious misfits, and (2) to get down to a short-list of most suitable candidates.

This screening process is solely based on email & phone interactions with the candidates, and if necessary on reviews of samples sent to our office.

We use the criteria defined before the previous step (identification of candidates).

Note: we will not negotiate prices with supplier--only enquire about them. Similarly we only collect information, and we won't promise orders to get acceptance of certain conditions.

We compile and process all responses. The client gets the whole information in a spreadsheet, with an indication of eliminated candidates (clear misfits) and best candidates.

The maximum number of best candidates is up to the client and has to be decided prior to this service. Usually 2 or 3 is enough.

From 50 candidates: 890 USD (15 working days)

From 100 candidates: 1450 USD (20 working days)

Notes:

• Above prices are for common categories, not for particularly complex or hard-to-find products.
• Above lead times are excluding the period directly before and after Chinese New Year.
• All bank charges, including those from intermediary banks, are to be paid by the client.
