5. Type of inspection

  • Textile inspection (fabric rolls)
  • Pre-production inspection (before sewing starts)
  • In-line inspection (during sewing, preferably when some products are finished)
  • Final random inspection (after sewing, just before shipment)
  • The factory should present % of the order quantity finished and  % packed upon inspector arrival.

Final random inspection:

The inspector selects some cartons randomly from the whole order and them draws some samples. He can check all specifications (including measurements) and looks for visual defects. This type of inspection is the most frequently used by importers.
